Certified Aggression Managers Workshop -- Two-Day Webinar Training

Health care industry employers across the United States are now required, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), to raise their standards to include workplace violence prevention. OSHA declared, “Health care and social service workers are almost four times more likely to be injured as a result of violence than the average private sector worker.” In 2015, OSHA issued citations to and levied fines on several healthcare providers for workplace violence prevention failures. Many health care leaders think they have a workplace violence prevention plan but learn too late they don’t. How will you empirically demonstrate to OSHA that you have an effective violence prevention plan?

The Center for Aggression Management’s Critical Aggression Prevention System (CAPS) utilizes scientifically validated means to reliably prevent workplace violence using evidence-based best practices. There are no other programs that rise to this level. Attendees will become Certified Aggression Managers (CAM) by learning the following:

  • How to apply the scientifically validated CAPS that enables its user to evaluate behavior that is aggressive (i.e., destructive, negative, threatening), and identify the individual who is on the path to violence.

  • How to use CAPS to determine the level of aggression the individual has reached and its associated threat level (low, moderate, and high threat risk).

  • Learn how CAPS only assesses aggressive behavior. Certified Aggression Managers can therefore record and track this aggressive behavior without violating HIPAA or privacy regulations.

The Critical Aggression Prevention System (CAPS) uses scientific cause-and-effect principles within its Meter of Emerging Aggression (MEA). CAPS produces the highest form of evidence-based best practices. This enables Certified Aggression Managers to remain objective, improve their legal defensibility and offers an extra measure of protection for all within the workplace.

The CAPS Solution is based on 25 years of research into aggressive behavior, and the recognition that practical tools to identify, measure, and assess specifically emerging human aggression were lacking.

CAPS is uniquely built upon scientifically validated measures of emerging aggression, providing Certified Aggression Managers the opportunity to reliably prevent bullying, harassment, abuse, discrimination, the loss of trust, and the next shooting with its proprietary Primal and Cognitive Aggression Continua and MEA.

The Certified Aggression Managers Workshop is intended to provide in-house utility, without the cost of travel and lodging. Upon successful completion of this two-day training, participants receive Aggression Managers Certification for as little as $595 per attendee (reductions for volume: with four participants, a fifth one comes free). Once we receive full payment (credit cards are accepted below), the complete package of information will be sent to you by e-mail so you can begin learning these critical skills
